About Vinylio
Vinylio started in 2022 as an online vinyl marketplace and auction focused on the Dutch and Belgian market. Both individuals and business customers can open their own online shop on Vinylio and start selling vinyl records. Vinylio is free to use, there is only a sales commission per item sold. For business customers, the sales commission is 6%, while for individuals it is 8%. Shipping and payment is securely and conveniently supported by Online Payment Platform and Sendcloud. Our platform currently has two languages in use: English and Dutch, communication on our blogs and socials are in English.
How does Vinylio work? In a form of an online marketplace and auction, Vinylio focuses on bringing vinyl enthusiasts together. The selling party can upload their collection in bulk using the Discogs link or can choose to add it manually under the "Selling" heading. Ultimately, the condition description is decisive.
For sellers, a sales verification will need to be completed with our verification and payment provider. Read more about Online Payment Platform's sales verification here. Once the verification is completed, it is possible to start selling.
We have set standard shipping costs to keep shipping costs as low and attractive as possible, shipping costs vary per country and are paid by the purchasing party.

Maintain your wish list & bid on others' items. view your own collection and have insight into your purchase history and reviews.
Selling your vinyl records can be done in two ways:
- Marketplace: when offering via the marketplace, it will appear under the offer. The advertisement remains there until sold or withdrawn from sale by you.
- Auction: an auction lasts three days or ends when the ‘Buy Now For’ amount has been paid. If the product is not sold, the auction will automatically restart. You can manage auctions under the heading "Auctions" in your dashboard.
